mixed

Man, I feel so mixed up.

I've been itching to write a post, but I don't even understand myself right now. And the past week has been such a blur, would you believe I'm already ticking off the days to the end of the sem?

I've really been busy this past week, and I don't quite know what to make of it. On one hand, I can't believe it actually feels good to be doing a lot of things and actually being 'productive' for once. On the other hand, I'm the type of person who wants a LOT of time for myself, and who hates being rushed or pressured.
I'm still dealing with all the responsibilities fairly well, but the question is for how long?

I'm a bit nervous about my subjects this semester, too. As if my econometrics class isn't intimidating enough. The concern is more of being able to balance everything without failing on my commitments and the things that people around me expect of me. *Sighs*

Oh brother, the months ahead are going to be pretty taxing. And I've got a lot of lessons to learn.

I don't love you as if you were a rose of salt, topaz,
or arrow of carnations that propagate fire:
I love you as one loves certain dark things,
secretly, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that doesn't bloom and carries
