I just thought about what would happen if I lost my legs... Quite a morbid thought, I know. Kinda typical of me, at times.
But anyway, where was I? Ah, yes... The losing-my-legs part.... Then I imagined that when I get to heaven, I'd have a perfect resurrection body and there'd be lots of beautiful places for wonderful, solitary walks. But then I realized, maybe I wouldn't want to wander by then. After all, when God is at the center of everything, no matter what the reason, how could you walk away? Would there be anything else worth seeing, any thought worth entertaining, than the One who is above all, through all, and in all? Labels: inside the self, rantings, the walk |
