mellow rock and mountain dew floats

Who'd have thought chocolate ice cream and mountain dew would go so well together? Or that I'd actually find myself liking the lyrics of a Maroon5 song?
Nothing like a good drink and nice music to soothe exam-exhausted nerves.
I am not joking: chocolate ice cream-mountain dew float is a sure treat.
My orgmates and I went out last night to eat and we had ice cream afterwards. JM decided to make a mountain dew float with the chocolate ice cream. My curiosity got piqued and I had to try it for myself.
Sure enough, the froth was a delight. The creamy chocolate flavor went well with mountain dew's sweet-tangy taste. I know it sounds icky, and it kinda looks icky too, but you've just gotta try it for yourself.
I'm not going through a break-up or anything but I instantly fell in love with Maroon5's "Better That We Break" the moment I first heard it. At the very least, the lyrics don't make use of sexually-charged language like some of their other songs.

I'm currently rediscovering 'mellow rock' right now. And I think I'm drifting off into another one of my melancholy moods again. *Sigh*
